SVS Unveils 3000 Micro R|Evolution Compact Subwoofer at AXPONA

SVS used AXPONA 2026 to introduce the 3000 Micro R|Evolution, a new compact subwoofer that puts serious hardware into an 11-inch sealed cabinet. The company said the model reaches down to 20Hz and is aimed at listeners who want full-range bass without giving up much floor space. It is priced at $999.99.

Headline specs? Dual-opposing 9-inch active drivers, a 1,200-watt continuous amplifier rated at more than 4,000 watts peak, and a 295MHz Analog Devices DSP. SVS says the opposing driver layout helps cancel cabinet vibration, one of the usual weak points in small subwoofer designs.

The 3000 Micro R|Evolution is also positioned as a step up from the original 3000 Micro, with more power, larger drivers, and expanded tuning options. Control runs through the company’s app, with adjustments for volume, crossover, phase, polarity, room gain compensation, and six bands of parametric EQ. Balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA connections are included, so it can slot into stereo rigs, home theater systems, or studio setups.

SVS President Gary Yacoubian said the new model was a ground-up rethink of the earlier design, with the goal of setting a new bar for micro subwoofers. That is a big claim, but the spec sheet makes clear what SVS is chasing: deeper extension, more control, and fewer of the compromises that usually come with very small boxes.

The Piano Gloss Black version is available now. Piano Gloss White is up for pre-order and is expected to ship April 30. SVS said Auto Room EQ will follow in the second quarter of 2026.
